MESH HUG

This piece of work is designed for RISD “My Ideal Chair” project. The chair is made of metal mesh and zip tie. The idea of the chair shape originates from hugging. When someone sits on it, it shows the feeling that he/she is hugged by the chair.  More interesting is that the recess of the chair allows the person to be ready for hugging someone else.
